T & J Canoe Rental's on Whiskey Chitto River provides an informative prelaunch briefing. The briefing consists of basic canoeing instructions, (if needed) and a safety presentation.

Overnight Trips on the river offer a full two day canoe trip with primitive beachside camping under the stars.
Launch time is between:7 am and 10 am weekends, 8 am to 10 am weekdays. Pick up time is 2:00 pm till 5:00 pm unless otherwise requested.
Shuttle buses are constantly running between these two times in the morning and the afternoons.
